The Northern Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association (NVNLA) is an organization comprised of nursery and landscape professionals throughout the northern Virginia area. The organization was first established in 1957 as the Northern Virginia Nurseryman's Association (NVNA) to represent the collective interests of the nursery and related horticultural industries in Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun, Prince William and surrounding counties and cities. The NVNA changed its name to the NVNLA in 1998 to more accurately reflect the broad scope of our membership.

Although the name of the association has changed slightly over 55 years, our mission has remained the same: to serve the nursery and landscape professionals of Northern Virginia through education, training and professional development. On behalf of its members, the NVNLA works to promote the field of horticulture as well as the high standards of quality, integrity and professionalism that have always been and remain the hallmarks of our association.

Today, the NVNLA continues to grow stronger with the active participation of its members. We work individually and collectively to help foster a strong nursery and landscape industry in northern Virginia and support our members through various programs. Whether you are a nurseryman, landscape contractor, designer, grower, lawn maintenance contractor, arborist or other professional within the green industry, we hope that you will consider becoming an active part of our Association.
